We offer a complete conversion service, beginning with a detailed consultation to understand your travel style and needs. We'll source the right van and then guide you through our range of Editions or help you to design your own configuration.
Our editions provide a foundation for your bespoke build, ensuring a functional and personalised campervan experience. From consultation to delivery, we'll work closely with you to bring your vision to life.
Conversion Timeline
This is our opportunity to discuss your wants and needs for the conversion, your budget, layout ideas and initial colour/material samples.
Once you're happy to proceed, we'll agree your conversion dates and take the initial 10% deposit to secure your slot.
Based on our discussions and any initial thoughts you have, we'll create 3D mock-ups of your conversion.
You’ll drop your van off with us on the agreed date, and we’ll be ready to get started straight away. Alternatively, if we’re sourcing the van for you, we’ll carry out all the necessary checks and send the details over for your approval. Once everything is confirmed, we’ll begin building your conversion.
During the production process we ensure to keep our clients in the loop with updates on how the conversion is coming along at relevant stages. We make sure to take photos along the way to supply alongside delivery of the vehicle so that the customer can see the progress from start to finish. We also like to share different stages of our builds on our Instagram (@albatrossconversions).
We'll take our time showing you through the conversion, explaining how everything works and answering any questions you may have. We ensure to equip our clients with everything they need to operate their new adventure van with confidence; with a user manual, operational videos where appropriate and 1-year warranty.

We now offer our Stroll and Drift conversions for the VW ID Buzz, E-Transit Custom, Peugeot E-Expert and Citroen E-Dispatch.
Our production schedule allows for bookings to be taken 3-6 months in advance. If choosing one of our large van conversions, once in production, it can take between 2-4 months for the full build. Smaller van conversions can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks depending on your choices.
Our larger conversions are built on the 2018+ Peugeot Boxer/Citroen Relay Professional van chassis, providing an excellent base. Our smaller van conversions are usually built on the VW Transporter or Ford Transit Custom chassis. We can also adapt our editions to suit the base vehicle. If you have a different van in mind, we're happy to source and convert it for you (additional costs may apply).
We can certainly help with custom conversions, in-fact, it's our speciality! Contact us with what you'd like to include and we can advise on the best option and provide you with a quote. Please note, we only convert new and unfurnished vans.
Yes, we can! We have a range of approved dealers in our address book for all types of vans. Equally, if you have purchased a van already, we would love to help you turn it into your dream camper. We kindly ask that it arrives unfurnished and empty.
